I quite like the look of the Alfa Romeo 159 & GT 1.9 diesel possibly 2006/07, however fun to drive, and the later models ultimately reliable. The newer models, 156, 159, GT etc are good cars
The “unreliability” handle that Alfa’s get seems to stem from decades-old information. As long as they are serviced well they will run and run, just like most cars. The difference is in the driving experience, smiles per mile my Alfa beats everything else I’ve driven in its class hands down. Awkward-Seaweed-5129.

Honestly I think the 159 estate is a damn beautiful car, more so than the regular saloon. I've spent 3 years looking at other, faster cars but have never found anything that's been able to take me away from the Alfa when I sit and think about it.
