Whats a good custom map to play thats somewhat more fast paced than the rest? i remember in homm2 gold there was this map where it was an 8player FFA and it was on the smallest possible map size. every building was already built and you just fight and get resources to keep up with production, that map helped me learn homm2 quick. THE most important Inferno creature until Efreeti. High stats similar to the Griffin, very fast for a runner, and no retaliation remains a winner for a Lv 3 unit as well. The 3-hex attack is a nice bonus but doesn't play a major role. Even with a horde building, growth rate is still below average, though.
