The Dagger looks promising because of the higher Crit damage and the Bandit's Knife is interesting because it has the bleed damage that synergizes with the rest of my build. But I remember reading a thread somewhere saying that the low AR of these weapons brings their overall crit damage down lower than other weapons.
you need to keep your shield down for like half a second or so before you can backstab, otherwise it comes out like a normal attack. Walk into them as you try to hit your light attack. Backstabs are in the 300-350 range. That's really damn high for a +3 weapon without any increases from Stats. Normal R1 "slaps" with the weapon only hit for around 40-50 though so it's an all-or-nothing with the riposte. q1uqLmu.
